As the Table Topics Masters, I didn't ask this question to anyone at random, but rather I chose a Toastmaster who has previously demonstrated a terrific ability to delight audiences with his candid, personally-revealing stories. With no disrespect intended to gardeners, I only ask questions that are: - interesting to everyone in the audience - somewhat controversial but can spark curiosity and healthy debate -- e.g., "Is there a link between video games and violence?" or "Should cell phones be permitted in schools?" The best Table Topics are those that matter and that people have opinions about.
