Make it Real

Whatever you talk about, no matter how abstract, you will convey your message more effectively if you make it real.
As an example, suppose you are describing the flow of ki through a human body. There are 12 meridians. Use a metaphor. In this example, perhaps a highway system would be appropriate. Blockages can be explained in real terms as a traffic jam such that people can visualize what you are saying.
