You can always rely on Craig Valentine to deliver the goods. This article is no exception. 10 delivery guidelines:
- Don’t move all the time
- Don’t forget about your face
- Use your character’s gestures
- Let the emotions drive
- Use Surround-Sense Gestures (360 Degrees)
- Don’t use the same gesture over and over again
- Watch out for your resting position
- Use an open hand
- Use bigger gestures for bigger audiences
- Smile
My only complaint is for Craig to stop using Don’t! What happened do Do?!! 
John – this is so valuable for every toastmaster. Imagine how easy it would be to give a 2-3 minute evaluation based on this list. You’d probably only be able to cover two or three things in that amount of time or maybe just pick one of them and go really indepth by illustrating examples of various speech moments where that type of gesture could have enhanced the message.
