Difficult Conversations

Seth blogged recently about difficult conversations at work.

The reference to a long pause is something that comes from being in Toastmasters.  But have you considered changing your tone midstream?  To change your speech to ask questions where there was none before?

I am sure those speakers that connect well with their audience adapt to the feedback they are getting from their audience.  It is a conversation, not a monologue.
